Lily's Ranch and Rescue: where neglected animals find sanctuary, care, and forever homes.
At Lily's Ranch and Rescue, we have committed to being a voice for the animals who are neglected, abused, and forgotten. Each rescue reminds us how vital it is to speak up for them and to raise awareness about the traumatic abuse many animals endure daily. Our mission extends beyond advocacy—we strive to show these animals the love and care they’ve never known. We take pride in providing a safe, healing environment for every animal that comes through our doors.

Our story began with a spirited miniature mule named Lily, rescued from a feedlot as a filly. After spending her early years with us, Lily found her forever home with a loving family in Colorado. Her journey inspired Laurie to not only rescue animals in need but also find them loving homes. Rehoming allows us to continue taking in new rescues, while those unable to find homes due to health or other challenges will always have a safe, permanent place at Lily's Ranch and Rescue.
Lily's Ranch & Rescue was founded by Trey and Laurie Beattie. They have been fostering and rehabilitating animals for over 10 years but recently began Lily's Ranch and Rescue in 2017. Through Laurie's passion and love for animals, she has rescued over 300 animals and that number continues to grow.
Trey and Laurie founded Lily's Ranch and Rescue in Colorado but moved to Kentucky in 2022 to begin a new chapter. Their goal is to build a surgery center on their property, offering spays, neuters, and minor surgeries to support local rescues and shelters. Currently, the nearest large animal surgery center is 5-6 hours away, making their presence in the area essential. After two years in Kentucky, they see why they are needed here.
At Lily's Ranch and Rescue, equine animals are our specialty, but we do not turn away any animal that is in need of our help. We also never turn away any volunteer help! Contact us if you would like to learn about our volunteer opportunities
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
